Local Business Highlights

One of my favorite things about Clarksville is the plethora of amazing local businesses here. There are so many fantastic bakers, coffee shops, restaurants, homesteads, etc. This page is dedicated to highlighting one business a week here in Clarksville that we think deserves some more recognition for their innovative ideas or talent.

Neighbors Mobile Coffee

Nestled in the parking lot of the Soldier Support Center at Fort Campbell, you will find one of Clarksville's gems: Neighbors Mobile Coffee. Clarksville has no shortage of local coffee shops. I've been to plenty of them in our 4 years here. Somehow, even though Maddison has had her coffee truck set up here since 2023, I had not been until this week. Big mistake on my end, truthfully, I deserve a slap on the wrist for that.

When I asked her how difficult it was to open her mobile coffee shop, Maddison said that it could be expensive at times, but she's very lucky because her husband, Paden, is very handy and fixed up most of the truck himself. She told me that one of the things she loves most about her truck is how she can take it anywhere. She opened the truck in Washington, and when they PCS'd to Fort Campbell, it made it easy to take her business with her.

One of my favorite things about Neighbors Mobile Coffee, though, was Maddison's vision. I noticed some Polaroid photos taped to the ceiling of her truck, and when I asked her about them, she told me that they were photos they had taken at their 'going-away' party in Washington. It was a way for them to always take a part of the people there with them anywhere they go, and she said that one day, she hoped the entire ceiling will be full of photos of all of the people they've met and places they've been.

I didn't get pictures of the coffee (or an up-close of their main menu, bad journalist), but I can tell you that it's giving my morning Starbucks runs some real competition. I had the cookie dough latte (iced), one of their April specials. This page isn't about reviews, that's not the purpose of it,  but I will say that I highly recommend not waiting until the last minute to give Neighbors Mobile Coffee a try. Don't end up like me, reflecting on the last 2 years of my life and regretting that I hadn't tried it sooner.

You can follow Neighbors Mobile Coffee on their Facebook page or Instagram @neighborsmobilecoffee! They post their hours and where they're setup there each week!
